This short video isn’t exactly centered around fishing but is focused more on the overall experience of backcountry fishing. Our favorite thing to do during the summer is to load up our packs and find remote waters that are tucked away in the mountains. This trip takes place in one of our favorite backcountry spots in the Sierras. The hike is long and pretty tough on the legs, but the reward is the scenery that is almost unrivaled, and numerous fun-sized browns that will take everything from a dries to streamers. Although, the landscape is so unreal that sometimes the great fishing becomes an afterthought.
